The Future of The Hunt; Side Projects
The problem that I have is that I’ve been involved in an in-depth, long-term game that took much of my creative juices. Although I removed myself from said project, I still helped out behind the scenes. As such, my “narrative” spark has diminished slightly. I no longer want to run a game: I want to play one! As much as I love to be the game-master, it’s been such a long time since I’ve actually played a game. Thus, I’ve put The Hunt off for a bit so explore my inner gamer geek. As well, the supplements that I had previously talked about, I lost not the interest, but the momentum to continue with the ideas that I had. Instead, I’ll keep with the core rules and improve the look of the book itself. A few tweaks here and there, and if there is a need to come out with a supplement, then I will create one. Until then, that project in particular is on hold for a little while longer.
However, I have recently been toying with an idea of a political game. Much like The Hunt, it will have no setting, but unlike the same game, it will have dice. Just not a large amount. I’m excited about this new project, and I will keep people up to date as the game progresses. It’s still very, very early at this point, but it’s a fun side project and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes!
Thanks for everyone who has sent me an email, personal message, text or the sort with words of encouragement!
