Well, earlier in the week I promised a huge thanks to a few people. Unfortunately, even then, I couldn't remember all who had come to try the demo out, which is a shame, because we had some pretty wild and crazy players! I will give an open thanks to everyone who came by the table to support the game, a thanks to the Gamma Team who helped make the adventure memorable, and to Kudrel and Faust who helped make the road trip absolutely enjoyable! And, of course, to the staff - especially the gaming room Staffer - who helped make this all possible for me! I can't wait to be back for next year! While in ConBravo, I had the opportunity to talk to a fellow about a small convention in Montreal (which isn't too far from here) called Geekothon II. Last year, they had between 50 to 60 people and want to increase that number, so they are branching out with the hopes to gain that interest to increase their size for their April convention. It's a small convention, but a gamer convention nonetheless, and I'll do what I can to help! Not ...

To those of you who purchased a copy of The Hunt Roleplaying Game at ConBravo this past weekend: Thank you so much for the support! I hope you have fun with it and that you spread the love to your friends, family and strangers! Everyone who had given me their email address for their freebies should have gotten them by now! If you have not received your free package, please let me know! There were one or two of you whose email I could not read so well. In hindsight, I should have confirmed these with you, but alas, I did not. Thank you all for your support! Go kick some supernatural creature butt! Frank

First things first: This past weekend was such a huge success for The Hunt RPG! There are so many people that I want to thank! However, at this very moment, I've been home for a little less than an hour and I'm a smidgen tired, what with driving a little over 6 hours to get home. But it was well worth the journey! In the days to come, I will be putting up a couple of pictures (not nearly as much as I would have liked to have taken), some stories that happened, and, of course, the aforementioned thanks to those that deserved it! Good night, hunters!

Over the course of about five years, the Crews of The Hunt have been involved in a Live-Action Role-Playing Game based on White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade. Over those five years, the game grew from a paltry 10-person game, to over fifty people. It has changed ownership from one Storyteller, to myself, to the Deviant. We have seen players come, go, and return again. We have seen our fair share of anger, tears, excitement and joy. As of Sunday, July 15th 2012, Ottawa by Night closed its doors for good. Many people will speculate as to what transpired to have the Deviant make this decision, but inevitably it was one that took many hours of discussion and was not taken lightly. In any event, there will people that will be missed, characters that have yet to reach their potential and story-lines that were just too way-cool to be forgotten. Five years is a long time to simply put something away, but I don't think I'll be doing any large, long-term LARP's any time soon. Instead, small table-top and "simple" 1-shot games are all I have in me at present. Which isn't a bad thing! I can ...
