After converting to a newer hit counter for the site, I feel more comfortable with these numbers. 3k was a little much for a fledgeling website that's barely been open for 6 months. Instead, I can honestly say that the site has reached it's first milestone (again) at 1000 hits! Although I said it before, it was under false pretences and I want to so it again with confidence: Thank you all for the support that you've shown through these past several months! It's been one helluva ride, but we ain't done yet! Stay tuned as more changes will be made, more additions will be had, and more ... stuff will be ... whatever stuff will do!

I'm not too happy with the counter system that I have now. On my Administration Page, it's saying that I have less than 1000 hits, but on the website counter add-on, it tells me over 3000. Although this is a great number, I'm finding it a little dubious. So I'm finding alternative counters to show a more accurate number than what is already up there. Because of this, you may (or may not) see a few new counters up spouting off different numbers. When all is said and done, I'll put up what I like and correct the numbers to reflect those that the Administration Page shows. Which also means that my previous comments about reaching those milestones (1000, 2000, 3000) will be null and void. Thank you for your patience.

Holy mackinaw! 2000 hits already?! Thank you everyone who has come and read the words of this exciting game! The next few months are going to be fun-filled and jam-packed with fantastic tidbits, so stay tuned! And no, I don't mean the little dough snacks, although they are tasty.

As you can see, there is now a spiffy title on the page!  Long gone is ... whatever was up there!  I'm not totally satisfied with how this one looks, but it'll do for now.  I'll experiment tomorrow with some transparencies in the program, but otherwise I'm okay with it ... for now.  As well, you'll notice the black box gone. I made note of this before, but I'm damn proud of this because I fixed it! Also, we have a counter going on but I'm still going to be experimenting with this, so don't be surprised if you see it fluctuate in numbers from time to time.  Only after September (or possibly a few months before) will I leave it the hell alone to check out the traffic. All in all, I like what's going on here and the work that I've been doing.  Now all we need is the Alpha Test to continue.  And to be honest, there's not much left of the Alpha Test to be done!  It's mostly  just work on my end to make the production look 'pretty'.  You know, clean up a few things, alter some items and add descriptions.  Hey, if any of the Alpha Testers want to ...
